PROJECT DOCUMENT REVIEW

Confirm Compliance for Your Medical Cable Configuration

Document applicability depends on the actual cable structure, connector, material grade and destination-market requirements.

  1. Identify the configuration

Confirm the drawing, connector, jacket, overmold and selected material grade.

  2. Match supporting records

Review applicable supplier documents, certificate scope and current revision dates.

  3. Define project evidence

Agree on declarations, inspection records and testing required for the OEM project.

PROJECT-SPECIFIC DOCUMENTS

Request Drawings, Specifications & Compliance Records

Send the cable model, drawing, device interface, intended market and document requirements. JYCMED can identify available records relevant to the selected OEM configuration.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Medical Cable Resource & Compliance FAQs

What information is available in the JYCMED resource center?

The resource center includes medical cable design guides, quality certificates, supplier material documents, published inspection standards and links for requesting project-specific documentation.

Do ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 certificates approve individual products?

No. The certificates apply to the stated quality-management system and certified scope. They are not individual product approvals or device-compatibility certificates.

Do the RoHS and REACH files certify every finished JYCMED cable?

No. The published files are supplier documents for named materials or material families. Finished-assembly status must be evaluated against the project bill of materials and applicable current records.

Does the PFAS document prove that every PFAS substance is absent?

No. The supplier states that PFAS are not intentionally used or added during manufacture, while trace impurities are not systematically excluded. The file should not be presented as proof that every PFAS substance is absent.

Is a technical data sheet proof of FDA approval?

No. A technical data sheet provides material properties and processing information. It is not FDA approval for the material, finished cable assembly or medical device.

How do I choose the correct medical cable for my device?

Confirm the device model, connector interface, pinout, lead configuration, cable length, jacket material and intended use before selecting a standard or custom assembly.

Can I request a datasheet, connector drawing or project document package?

Yes. Send the product name, device model, drawing or existing cable reference. Available documents can then be matched to the selected configuration and project requirements.
